a bird just flew into one of my big front windows. i heard a big *bonk*, and glanced over at the window in time to see some teeny white feathers floating in front of it. i ran out to rescue it, but i guess it had flown off. awwwwwwwww.

another thing i'm upset about: my boss took a job in another department. "meh" doesn't even begin to describe how bummed i am. i'll still have some contact with him, which is great... and i'm happy that he got the job offer... but i am basically losing the best manager i've ever had in this company. waaaaah.
