holy crap.

it's official. i own a house.

they even gave me the keys and everything.

zzzzzzzzz...

so. freaking. tired. i ran a million miles a minute today, and tomorrow will be more of the same. after settlement on the house (i have never signed my name so many times in my LIFE), i went right over with a trunk full of cleaning supplies to tackle the pre-move scrubdown. problem is, i didn't get to much of it, because i spent the entire afternoon doing office work (leave it to me to pick a settlement day that coincided with the due day of my project from hell). i spent about 6 hours alternating between working on my laptop standing in the kitchen, and sweeping for a few minutes. thank god for mom, she showed up late-afternoon with turkey hoagies and diet cokes and helped me by wiping down the inside of every kitchen drawer and cabinet while i typed away at light speed.

finishing up my packing now, and i'm just wiped. i'm looking at the mound of clothes in the middle of my room, and thinking, "could i just go to bed now and pack that in the morning?" *sigh*. i need a major massage and some veg-out time. perhaps tomorrow night... i'll just sit among the boxes and watch some cable and just enjoy the fact that i'm in a place that's all mine. that's after mom and dad come over with pizza for dinner... they're so excited to see me moved in and be a part of all of this, they're pretty much coming over every day this weekend. they're so cool.

off to pack my last few boxes... zzzzzzz...
