*happy dance*!

last day of wo-ork... last day of wo-ork...

i'm so psyched, i can't stand it. i even took a bubble bath this morning instead of a shower, and i'm laving for the office at... *gasp!*... 7:30am, instead of 6:30am. woo-hoo! now let me just get all my stuff done, so that the rest of the holidays are manageable instead of a work-fest.

i'd love to go dancing tonight. the question is, do i go to the west coast swing dance i've been to before... or do i head into the city and go to brasil's for their salsa night and learn how to shake my bon-bon? hrm...

1st 5 minutes of vacay...

today was so good. really. got caught up on a lot, and despite the big sh!tstorm of work that was dumped in my lap at noon (and will require much work over the holidays), it was a good workday. one of the managers i work with gave me a bottle of red wine for xmas (obviously the man knows exactly what i need after the last few weeks), and a co-worker complimented me on the job i'm doing. so even though i left the building at 6:30pm with a bag weiged down with 50 pounds of work, i felt lighter leaving there.

on tap for tonight: westie dancing with my buddy P, who i only get to see about once a year, and then sleeeep in tomorrow before my haircut and massage (yay!). oh, i'm so psyched...

okay...

...am i the only one who gets a bit weepy at that chanel no. 5 commercial with nicole kidman? the one where she spends several days up on a rooftop with a regular guy, madly in love, and then goes back to her life of celebrity, and looks back at him longingly from the red carpet?

i know it's stupid. but i get so damn misty every time i see it.
