change in itinerary

ugh. up at 4:30am after a crappy night's sleep. between the howling wind outside my window (i seriously thought my windows were going to shatter a few times), and all the flight craziness, i barely closed my eyes. thank god for monkey... the few times i did snooze for a bit, i think it's because of her. all night, as i tossed and turned, she stayed wrapped around me and purred... when i moved, she followed my lead and scootched a bit so she could stay near me. i think all the warmth and purrin' really helped. awwww, i wuv her.

so, i have no idea if my flight will be on time today. i managed* to get a 9:32 flight to columbus, which then gets into atlanta at 2-something. not the straight 9-noon i'd been on originally, but at least it's an early flight... i have co-workers booked on a 3pm, which means they'll miss part or all of tonight's awards dinner. what a bummer... i finally get eligible for a huge award (don't know if i'm actually getting it), and half of the reps going are going to miss the ceremony. it's like getting psyched up for your wedding, only to find that half the guests get stranded the day of. what a letdown.
