bride and prejudice

i just spent the morning at the kendall movie theatre, munching on popcorn with real butter (yay!) and watching "bride and prejudice", the new musical by the woman who did "bend it like bekham". what an awesome way to spend an early saturday... it was like eating a bag of gummy bears for breakfast -- you get a little sick from all the sugar, but you love it anyway. it was a total bollywood musical, with all its bright colors, bad-community-theater choreography, cheesy song lyrics, and overacting. run, run, RUN to the theatres and go see it.
