whee!

i posted the other day that i hoped to one day own a piece of art by shag... well, now i do! *swoon*





thanks to eBay and my tax refund, i am now the proud owner of a limited-edition serigraph* of "conga girls at rest", signed and numbered by shag himself. oh, i am SO excited to get this home and framed... i don't even care that i'm home sick with another tummy flare-up, I OWN ART!!!! whee!




*he only does a couple hundred prints of each of his works, releases them, and that's it. you can't get any of his stuff as a poster (trust me, i've tried) or anything, which ups the value of all his work.
