ouch.

bad stomach problems today. bad enough that i had to take a sick day and lay on the couch, chugging Pepto. *sigh*. i think it was all the stuff i've eaten over the last few days, stuff that i haven't had in a while -- pasta, ice cream, tortilla chips, butter... all those comfort foods, eaten in massive quantities (i've eaten this weekend's pasta for 3 straight days, it was so good) are catching up with me. i need to call and find out what they gleaned from my tests 2 weeks ago, so i can stop feeling so sick on and off. ugh.

i think one of the things that contributed to my stomach problems was that i finished the book "bling". what a piece of crap. i feel bad, the girl who wrote it seems bright and everything, but it was like reading the script for the movie "glitter". i should have tossed it after the first chapter, but dammit, i bought it in hardcover... so for that kind of investment, i was hoping it would get better. no luck.

i leave for philly in 2 days. can't wait. another beautiful drive down (it's going to be in the 70s all week) with my favorite CDs... i get to work in the training department of my company for a day, which is always fun... dinner with the family that night... then i'm taking friday all to myself to do whatever the hell i want. i'm thinking of going into philly for the day and seeing where my feet take me. i do need to go back to south street, because there's a store there that sells cowboy boots and i need a new pair for dancing this weekend. saturday will be dancing (yee-haw!) and Musikfest with an old friend.

and of course, at least once in there, i will make sure i get to see "coffee-date-boy", even if it's only for a few minutes. i guess i need a new name for him, since we've moved way beyond the coffee date, huh. maybe i'll just call him "A". *grin*
