...am i the only one who gets a bit weepy at that chanel no. 5 commercial with nicole kidman? the one where she spends several days up on a rooftop with a regular guy, madly in love, and then goes back to her life of celebrity, and looks back at him longingly from the red carpet?

i know it's stupid. but i get so damn misty every time i see it.

I've not seen that commercial, but there are two commercials out there that remind me of LJ people! One of them is for Crest Whitestrips, the woman's face/body type/smile reminds me of an LJ woman I know. The other is for The Bay [Canadian store chain], the musical style makes me think of you! In fact, the icon you used from this post fits the same era and style that I'm thinking of. I really suck at describing something like this, the best way would be to hear it for yourself. If you're really bored, or need some background noise while you're doing something around the apartment, a radio station that airs this commercial is CHUM-FM in Toronto and they have streaming audio [ http://www.chumfm.com ]. Give it a listen and see if you can hear what I'm hearing :)

Heh... don't forget that they're talking Celsius, which would mean it's 26.6 degrees Farenheit. Not to worry, it's not that much different around here :)
