ahhhhh... relaxation.

swingchickieaway for the weekend. i really needed it. what with work and home being stressful, there's been no place for me to really escape to. so i signed up for this swing dance competition weekend... it's only an hour from home, but i decided to stay at the hotel and just get away for a few days.
last night i was a dork... checked in to my room, registered for the weekend, then figured i'd order room service, shower, and head downstairs for the start of social dancing at 9pm. instead, i ordered room service (cobb salad with olive oil and lemon), took a long hot bath, and fell saleep in front of "law and order" by 8:30pm. oops. LOL but i'm glad i got the sleep... woke up at 6am totally refreshed, with peaceful hours to kill before i have to be anywhere.
so, today will be good: dance classes from 10am-1pm, then i booked a massage in the hotel spa at 2pm... then i'll come back, shower, change into a snazzy outfit, and dance my ass off all night in my new, relaxed, zen state. bliss.
oh, and i bought new fun jammies for the weekend. pink t-shirt and pink bottoms, with cartoony white bunnies dancing to a big boom box and the word "hip-hop" all over. totally cheesy and girly.
the b.f. is auditioning this morning for "the apprentice". he should totally be on it, he'd be fantastic.
