my favorite:
For the fifteenth time that evening my narcoleptic lover opened his eyes, smiled at me, and said, "Good morning!"
BWAhahahaaaaa...
*for those who don't know about this... it's an annual contest to see what ridiculous "first sentence in a book" things can be written. it's based on the book by Edward George Earl Bulwer-Lytton, that started out: "it was a dark and stormy night".
