went for a "run" this morning. (my version of a morning run = walk fast for a chunk of time, with a couple of teeny 1-minute jogs that make me want to die because i'm out of shape.) i really wish i loved running... i see these lithe people jogging around cambridge, so healthy and so focused, so fired up to be out doing their thing, and i get really jealous. but i HATE to run. it feels awful, and it's boring. but i've been so bad with my eating lately, what with the holiday weekend and making J's cake, that i needed to do something. so, since i was up early (didn't sleep well, too much on my mind), i decided to head out into the cool morning air. i only made it about a half hour, because (as is my luck) the heavens opened and it started raining like a mo-fo. but i feel good with that little bit of movement, and it was nice to see my neighborhood while it was so quiet.
in other news, i am pissed at AOL... they put up video clips of some of the live8 performances, and completely left out the concerts in scotland, africa, and russia. of course, those were the only 3 concerts i wanted to see. grrrrrrrrr.

Blech. Scroot. Running is no fun. At least dancers SMILE. Ever watch a marathon? Ever see a more miserable-looking group of people in your life?
