check out my new toy from i-don't-even-know-what year... someone actually ABANDONED this in my building, can you believe it? (and no, i don't mean angus... i mean the cool old typewriter.) it is so beautiful. and HEAVY.




the future...

i just found out about this tokyo website, tokyoflash.com... they sell all sorts of cool watches that you can't get in the US... and coming soon to a mailbox near me, is my new cyberpunk watch, in all its futuristic glory. *dance of glee*

That is an amazing typewriter. It looks like it still works! Can you find a manufacturer's date on it? It could be worth something if you decide to sell it. Though it'd be great to keep it as a conversation piece!

it might work, but everything kinda sticks when you push it. it'd need a major overhaul. though i do want to find out when it was made... i need D's help with that, 'cause all i can do is scootch it around on the plastic we put under it. it's THAT heavy!

yeah, the cat's stayin'. *grin* though he wishes the typewriter would go... reason he's curled up next to it, is i put it in the very spot where he used to stretch out and snooze. he's not happy.
