when it rains...
the hoop orders continue to roll in. it's crazy. several times this week, i've been checking e-mail to get info on a hoop order, and i'll hit "refresh" and another order has popped up in the meantime. this morning i shipped 2, i have another 5 to make before monday, and who knows what this final week before xmas will bring. so funny. i bailed on the idea of baking cookies for my co-workers today, i had to spend most of my time shipping hoops and buying more bubble-wrap and ordering more tape and stuff. so the co-workers are getting cookies from my amazing local bakery instead. :)
in between hoop making, i'm trying to have a life this weekend. last night jack and i went to see "philly bloco" (a brazilian band a'la alo brasil) with B and danced our booties off, and tomorrow is the big hoop path workshop i've been waiting for (i'm nervous!). for tonight, jack has made an amazing WW-friendly meal: ribs, and mac & cheese made with whole wheat pasta and low-fat cheese. *drool* i plan on stuffing myself with his amazing cooking and passing out by 9. i'm exhausted.
